**What is paideia?**

“Paideia” is a Greek word meaning the training and formation of the whole person—mind, heart, and character. In Ephesians 6:4, Scripture calls parents to “bring up [their children] in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” This biblical vision of education is the foundation of Summit Paideia Academy.

Our Hybrid Model: A Collaborative Approach

We partner with families to provide structured, high-quality education while equipping parents as the primary educators of their children. Our model blends classroom instruction with at-home learning for a balanced, flexible approach.

• In-Class Days (3 Days/Week) – Students engage in rich discussions, hands-on activities, and direct instruction from experienced teachers. Monday & Wednesday is our core subject days (History, Science, Math & Language Arts) Friday is for music, arts + other enrichment / social activities. Friday is optional attendance.

• At-Home Days (2-3 Days/Week) – Parents facilitate structured lessons using provided plans, reinforcing concepts taught in class.

Designed for families seeking more than a traditional co-op, our program provides a comprehensive curriculum and dedicated in-person instruction two days a week, ensuring students receive high-quality guidance in core subjects while fostering meaningful and lifelong peer connections. The remaining three days are spent at home where parent teachers oversee assigned coursework that reinforces in class concepts.
